These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Neighbourly. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract under Indian law to use Neighbourly.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and posting tasks.

Using Neighbourly

Neighbourly connects neighbours to post and offer help with everyday tasks, and to reunite lost items with their owners. We do not employ, supervise, or guarantee the conduct of any user.

Tasks may be offered for a monetary budget or a non-monetary exchange, at the sole agreement of the Initiator and Helper.

  • Do not post false, misleading, or fraudulent tasks or Lost & Found listings.
  • Do not harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
  • Do not use Neighbourly for any unlawful purpose.
  • Meet in safe, public locations when coordinating in-person tasks, especially with unverified users.

Identity Verification

Verified badges indicate a user has completed Aadhaar OTP or selfie-based identity verification through our process. Verification helps establish trust but is not a guarantee of a user's identity, intentions, or safety. Always use your own judgement when meeting other users.

Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, task descriptions, messages), but grant Neighbourly a licence to host, display, and distribute it within the app as needed to operate the service.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Neighbourly is provided "as is". We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the conduct of users, or the outcome of any task. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neighbourly is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from interactions between users.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Neighbourly after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
